On 14 June 2024, an expert roundtable debate EU Energy Policy took place in Podkylava, Slovakia within the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence project GREENPOL No. 101127382. Faculty of European Studies and Regional Development (FESRD) of the SUA in Nitra, the event organiser provided participants with a full day programme composed of theoretical and practical part. While the theoretical part focused on the presentation of the project, its aims, objectives, methodology and planned results, the practical part served to participants a portion of practical on-site examples provided during expert excursions to the Ecological farm, secondary vocational school, and residential apartment buildings. Presentations by professionals from the FESRD as well as practical shows of experts on sustainable farm production and renewable energy sources were accompanied by an active discussion with the event participants on relevant topics.
